Sim City Build It-Google Mobile Game

What do you do when you don't have access to your computer when it comes to gaming?

For me, I was without my computer for about a month. I must admit that the first week was tough, but after awhile, it was like losing my phone. You can live without it. SHOCKER! I know... ha! You just adjust back to the good old days when computers were rare and cell phones were only seen in movies. To me, it was like living in the 90's all over again. A good time to live in the past, explore old gaming and play around with Google mobile games.

One game in particular that I recently got into was "Sim City Build It". I remember playing Sim City on my first computer and my favorite thing to do was to unleash a tornado onto the metropolis. I like the mobile version, but I find that everything you do is very time consuming. You have to be very patient since everything is so damn expensive. And because, I wasn't smart about building my city, I ended up having a 30% happiness rating... Poor Gummy Town... ha ha, ah well, only a few more market trades and I'll be able to bring up that percentage a bit. If I had to rate the game, it would be a 3 star and a half. Mainly because you level up so fast in the beginning that it almost screws you over in the end. At first making money was difficult as well, but once you figured out the trade center than all you have to do is go into high production and sell, sell, SELL! Overall impressions, it's a good game to pass the time, but it'll take time to correct your mistakes. If you're a building mogul, then this game is for you!

Well, aside from mobile games, in bigger news, I now have a temporary keyboard for my laptop! I can't wait to get back to gaming and finishing my Alan Wake series. I'm going through game withdrawal~ Well, that's it and that's all, at least for now, enjoy the rest of your day!

Just Lazy...

Today is just one of those days. You know, the kind of day where you feel less motivated to do anything?  Yeah, you get it, that kind of day.

Well, despite the sun shinning almost too brightly, and the never-ending chores that have stacked up over the past few days, I  almost don't even feel like gaming. "WHAT!?! Don't feel like gaming?  That's hardly like you!" I know, I know, but sometimes I just get so caught up in my thoughts that they end up bottlenecking in my brain. I'm completely unmotivated until all of those thoughts have poured  out and I  feel a strong sense of freedom. Right now, I'm caught in a corner to the point where I don't even know where to start.

I guess part of the problem stems from my lack of a computer.  I used to do a lot of my writing at the ease of my keyboard...now I'm plugging away on my blog with the swipe keyboard of my mobile phone. Fun fun. At least I still have my ps3. I can play my psone classics until my hearts content but I  really miss my pc games. Alan Wake, Dragon Age, Sims, L4D2, and yes, even Cod. Nothing is more satisfying than opening a bottle of wine on a Friday night and playing online with my buddies until the wee hours of the morning.  Good times, hehehe.

Well, I'm starting to feel a little more inspired and as the day goes I might even venture out into the blistering cold to get a well deserved slushy! Wait, screw that idea, I just remembered that I bought ice cream just yesterday. Woot! Whatever your weekend holds I hope you can have a positive one filled with fun and ice cream. Happy Friday!

Another Gummy Update - PlayStation Gaming

Well, you might have noticed my absence and due to illness and lack of a computer I'm actually writing this blog straight from my phone. And, that was a total run on sentence but who's really checking? Hehe

So apart from the recent bad luck, my goals for the new year still involve a series of gaming.  Once, of course, I get my computer fixed or replaced, why does everything cost so much? For now, I've been playing the PS3 and visiting memory lane with Legend of the Dragoons and Final Fantasy VIII. I wanted to play Shadow Hearts too but I couldn't find it....sadness. At least, thanks to my significant other, I have had the opportunity to play on his monster pc for some more hardcore retro gaming. That's right, Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country. Despite everything, I've been feeling really reminiscent and old. Ha! I guess that's what happens when you've grown up during the 90's.

In Legend of the Dragoons I've just made it to Hellena Prison where I am supposed to rescue miss Shana, I could really care less for her character as I remember disliking her many eons ago when I first played the game. I guess I just find her weak for a love interest.  The only thing going for her is her ability to act pretty and being a childhood friend to Dart, the main character.  I can't wait to meet up with Rose and Miranda though. Growing up, I looked up to Rose and her badassness. If you have no idea what I'm talking about be sure to check out the  PlayStation store and look up the game. It's not only a fun game to play but the story line is pretty epic. It's a PSOne Classic and one worth playing.

Well that's it and that's all, at least for now.  I can't wait to continue my adventures in finding dragons and becoming super powerful,  just like in the good old days...I can't believe I just said that... I'm so old, I'm like cheese, I can only get better with age. Hehehe I'm such a nerd....
