My goal is to inspire or be inspired, to learn new things, and grow apart and stand alone from society as an aspiring writer. Come away with me as I discover my best and worst ideas, to become successful or just fall flat on my face. Life is brutally honest but we take what we can from it.

Just Lazy...
Today is just one of those days. You know, the kind of day where you feel less motivated to do anything? Yeah, you get it, that kind of day.
Well, despite the sun shinning almost too brightly, and the never-ending chores that have stacked up over the past few days, I almost don't even feel like gaming. "WHAT!?! Don't feel like gaming? That's hardly like you!" I know, I know, but sometimes I just get so caught up in my thoughts that they end up bottlenecking in my brain. I'm completely unmotivated until all of those thoughts have poured out and I feel a strong sense of freedom. Right now, I'm caught in a corner to the point where I don't even know where to start.
I guess part of the problem stems from my lack of a computer. I used to do a lot of my writing at the ease of my keyboard...now I'm plugging away on my blog with the swipe keyboard of my mobile phone. Fun fun. At least I still have my ps3. I can play my psone classics until my hearts content but I really miss my pc games. Alan Wake, Dragon Age, Sims, L4D2, and yes, even Cod. Nothing is more satisfying than opening a bottle of wine on a Friday night and playing online with my buddies until the wee hours of the morning. Good times, hehehe.
Well, I'm starting to feel a little more inspired and as the day goes I might even venture out into the blistering cold to get a well deserved slushy! Wait, screw that idea, I just remembered that I bought ice cream just yesterday. Woot! Whatever your weekend holds I hope you can have a positive one filled with fun and ice cream. Happy Friday!

Another Gummy Update - PlayStation Gaming
Well, you might have noticed my absence and due to illness and lack of a computer I'm actually writing this blog straight from my phone. And, that was a total run on sentence but who's really checking? Hehe
So apart from the recent bad luck, my goals for the new year still involve a series of gaming. Once, of course, I get my computer fixed or replaced, why does everything cost so much? For now, I've been playing the PS3 and visiting memory lane with Legend of the Dragoons and Final Fantasy VIII. I wanted to play Shadow Hearts too but I couldn't find it....sadness. At least, thanks to my significant other, I have had the opportunity to play on his monster pc for some more hardcore retro gaming. That's right, Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country. Despite everything, I've been feeling really reminiscent and old. Ha! I guess that's what happens when you've grown up during the 90's.
In Legend of the Dragoons I've just made it to Hellena Prison where I am supposed to rescue miss Shana, I could really care less for her character as I remember disliking her many eons ago when I first played the game. I guess I just find her weak for a love interest. The only thing going for her is her ability to act pretty and being a childhood friend to Dart, the main character. I can't wait to meet up with Rose and Miranda though. Growing up, I looked up to Rose and her badassness. If you have no idea what I'm talking about be sure to check out the PlayStation store and look up the game. It's not only a fun game to play but the story line is pretty epic. It's a PSOne Classic and one worth playing.
Well that's it and that's all, at least for now. I can't wait to continue my adventures in finding dragons and becoming super powerful, just like in the good old days...I can't believe I just said that... I'm so old, I'm like cheese, I can only get better with age. Hehehe I'm such a nerd....

Gummy: In Pictures!
Back to gaming!
Alright, I feel like it's been so long since my last gaming post....months, maybe....but there was just so much going on, life takes over and gaming gets placed on the shelf in the back. But now that I've got a little bit more time, I've been busy with Sims 4, and GTA V!
![]() |
This Sims home took a couple of weeks to complete. Just in time for Christmas! In the Sims Community it can be found as: "The Glass Slipper". |

I always enjoy watching the sunrise! |
Well, that's it that's all, at least for now! HAPPY HOLIDAYS! ^^

The Blank Page
It's a frustrating feeling whenever you get a new journal, and no matter the worth, you never wish to write in it. This very feeling seems to scream against the intricate muscles in your hand, if the journal happens to be expensive. Still, quite a few months ago, I always seem to lose track of the time, I decided to make my own journals. It was a happy idea and after a few homemade journals, I set them aside in order to be forgotten.
Recently, I was reunited with these journals that I so happened upon in a dusty shoe box filled with random knick knacks. My thoughts were immediately jumping with ideas and I reached out for the soft covered journal closest to me. However, the moment I sat down to write something it was as if my imagination bottlenecked at the very sight of a blank page. It's funny how I can sit at my computer and type this blog, but to write in a journal and exhume old dusty ideas is always a taxing task!
Ah well! Eventually I'll overcome the fear of making a mistake and just start writing. I've come to the conclusion that it must be a fear, and at least with fears we can put them to past! Anyway, happy holidays and enjoy a hot chocolate topped with little marshmallows, that's my favorite holiday beverage! Ha!

Words and Feelings
The weeks seem to pass by without much notice, and it feels like I forget the days as soon as they come.
And though Christmas is normally a thrilling time of the year when people strive to be happier, I can't help but feel a little gloomy as sickness plagues someone I truly admire. Still, I hang onto high hopes and prayers, despite not being religious, that perhaps some miracle will take place. Every time I feel the burn of hunger, the aches and pains of a bad nights sleep, or the lingering weight of a vicious headache, I can't help but think of this person. Even in her weakest moments she still clings to a bright future. Her strength pours from her broken body as she continuously repeats that, "things will get better."
Then, just when I felt that things couldn't get any worse, personal matters became almost unbearable. Challenges were set out before me and my family, and there is nothing I could do about it. But even in the darkest of times I still grasp at the slivers of hope and the words of my mother. "Things will get better."
Something I came across recently reminded me of the power of a good story, and how word's can be used to spit out hate or string together in a wondrous phrase of insight, and inspiration. In a movie (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) a single phrase stood out and spoke to me. It seemed that fate or destiny or even coincidence wanted me to hear it in this exact moment and suddenly I felt clarity. "We are meant to lose the people we love. How else do we know how important they are?"
So, all in all, even when we feel like we are locked in an endless cycle of grief or depression, there is always something to bring you back. Hold on a little longer, you never when you might hear the exact words you needed to hear.

Words Unspoken Part 3
As promised, I finished part 3 of my Words Unspoken series...
Well, semi-finished because I want to go back and edit parts here and there. Feel free to take a look at my work. I look forward to hearing any feedback!
In this part, I tried to bring out Reimi's character, and what she is capable of. Also, there is more information on the Fates and the Grim Reaper. I know that there is still so much work to do, but at this point, my general thinking was to just get the thoughts out as they came...
Also, I think I had a bit of a screw up with the appearances of the Fates from the first part to the third, forgive me! I'll have to go back and fix it at some point! hehe
Thank you for taking the time to read it, and enjoy! :P

NaNoWriMo 2014 - "Words Unspoken"
It's that time of year when a few people decide to take up the challenge of writing a 50K novel in 30 days!
It doesn't have to be perfect, hell, it can be your very raw first draft. The point of National Novel Writing Month is to write! It's entirely free, and anyone can do it, even if you are from another part of the world. This year, I am participating, and much like in July, I have a mind brimming with ideas.
I haven't really worked on an outline....it might be my downfall but we shall see, who knows what will happen in the course of a month. If you are interested in taking up the challenge, then refer to this site and start writing! I'll see you at the finish line!!!! :D [ NaNoWriMo: http://nanowrimo.org/ ]
Curious about my idea? Well, here it is:
A few years back I was creating a Sims 3 machinima series that I came to call, Words Unspoken. It's a dark tale about a young girl who becomes haunted by a grim reaper with whom asks her a life altering question. She has until her 29th birthday to come up with an answer or fate answers for her and the people she is closest to will die. Basically, the story is about love, life, friendship, and responsibility. It follows the young girl and the decisions she makes throughout her life since meeting the reaper.
Well, that's it, that's all...at least for now... If you want to read the story as I go, you can check it out at [ Leanpub: https://leanpub.com/wordsunspoken ]. You don't have to make a purchase to read it, but you can if you want, the pricing system is flexible! As always, thank you for sticking around this corner that no one sees, I'm really grateful that people are interested in what I have to say!
*Side note - I'll be publishing on these dates "Nov. 7, Nov. 14, Nov. 21, and Nov. 28" on Leanpub so be sure to check it out and tell me what you think!
**Double side note (lol) - if you're interested in seeing the inspiration for the story it can be found on [YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xzsqrl_NXQg and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpwFi1H-i58 ] I wasn't able to finish the story because of technical issues so I'll do it in writing instead! xD

Frankenstein-Mary Wollstonecraft (Godwin) Shelley
When it comes to classic writing, sometimes we find ourselves staring at a page full of words that are hardly used in everyday communication. But, when we really start looking at the words, they form together to create such a beautiful and intricate scene, the words slowly form off the page and paint the picture from the author's mind.
In Frankentein, the author Mary Shelley, uses a descriptive vocabulary within the first few paragraphs (and throughout, obviously, lol) to convey imagery and mood. We are immediately immersed in London as a letter is being written to a Margaret Saville. Her brother writes to her about his journey thus far in venturing north saying, "...as I walk the streets of Petersburgh, I feel a cold northern breeze play upon my cheeks, which braces my nerves and fills me with delight. Do you understand this feeling? This breeze, which has traveled from the regions toward which I am advancing, gives me a foretaste of those icy climes." I don't know if it is because it is actually getting colder in Montreal...we are expecting snow next week, but I imagine myself in his position. I can feel the cold breeze and even breath it in.
Well, that is just a taste of Frankenstein and if you want to read further more of the story, you can find it here: Frankenstein-Mary Wollstonecraft (Godwin) Shelley <-- check it out, it's a treat for the mind as well as food for thought!

Scare Week[s] Day 4 - A Tale of Two Sisters
I am a hugely afraid of watching scary movies but there are some that I will watch over and over again. It just so happens that a lot of the time, my favorite horror films are Japanese or Korean! At the top of that list comes "A Tale of Two Sisters".
This story follows two sisters that return home from a mental institution and immediately there is tension between them and the step-mother. Accompanied with a beautiful soundtrack and wonderful storytelling, "A Tale of Two Sisters" is frightening but also thought provoking and tragic.
Anyway, enjoy the film and Happy Halloween! xD

Gaki No Tsukai!! Scare Week[s] Day 3
Okay, so it's not really scary unless you're afraid of men in nurses outfits! However, there is a part where the comedians must go into the hospital at night that happens to be scary....for them! lol
Anyway, check it out and have a good laugh! xD

Scare Week[s]: Day 2!
I was looking back on my old posts on Facebook from last year and came across this video. It's an advertisement for tires that my brother had shared. At the time, I remember thinking that maybe it was one of his music videos... I was wrong.
Give it a watch and happy Scare Week! lol *I just looked at the calendar and noticed that I'm celebrating a little too early. Ah well, we'll do another scare week next weak!* xD

Improvisation #11 - Sorrow
As you may already know, I am a huge fan of the piano! It's complexity is known to require a high level of dexterity and yet this young fellow has taken this complex instrument, and played a beautiful melody with mainly one hand. It just goes to show that when you put your mind to a task, you can complete it if you just stay strong. In today's society, we are often cruelly judgmental of people and if they display any weakness, whether it be the loss of a limb or mentality just doesn't match what we call "smarts", then we take it upon ourselves to look at that person differently. But, if you do that, you will most likely fail to see the story behind that person's life, or the abilities that they can offer the world. Appearance isn't always everything.
As quoted from Galaxy Quest - "Never give up, never surrender!", I usually find myself repeating this line, even though the movie was somewhat ridiculous, this line has offered me the right mantra to get through some difficult times.
I hope you enjoy this video, and always remember that you need to work hard to achieve your dreams! Good luck, bonne chance!
The Evil Within: Headless Glitch (Sleepy Hollow?)
I've been away too long! SORRY!!!! I fell behind on my videos so to bide some time I'm sharing this interesting look into "The Evil Within". Despite being too horrified to play the actual game (and too poor to purchase it, as well as lack of hard drive space) I was curious enough to at least check out this glitch! It's an eye opener and my morning's coffee spewed everywhere as I laughed heartily, a long time needed. Happy Monday, and it's scare week as Halloween fast approaches! :P
